G-Wiz: That Makes A Lot of Sense!

G-Wiz

That’s a funny car – especially when it is parked behind a beautiful orange Porchse and your from a country where small is still the counter culture. I didn’t think much of the little electric car until TreeHugger posted about them again on July 12.

Reva Electric Car Company manufactures the G-Wiz in India. It is classified as a qudrocycle in the UK which means it has a maximum weight of 400 kg and a maximum power output of 15 kw. Just think suped-up golf cart. The coolest thing about the G-Wiz is that it is designed specifically for low speed urban driving; in fact it is not legal on some roads because of minimum speed laws.

The G-Wiz is a battery electric vehicle that can zip you across town 45 mph, however a more typical speed in the city is probably 10-20 mph.
