Here I am with Lettuce, the sow who is lucky enough to live at Savage Oaks Farm in Union Maine. I met Lettuce when we visited the farm last week on a field trip with Slow Food Portland. The reason we were there was actually not to meet Lettuce, but to see their vineyard and taste their wine. That’ll be my next post. I thought Lettuce was pretty cute. Watch out though, she bites.
