“Technology that only takes one architect to install…” Rick Renner

Rick Renner Green Roof

Our friend Rick Renner recently completed Portland, Maine’s first LEED Platinum project. It was the renovation of a two story brick building into a first floor office for his architecture firm and a second floor apartment for himself. Rick is a principal of Rick Renner Architects a Portland based firm with a southern office in Sherborn, Massachusetts.

Beside lots of press about his LEED Platinum for Homes Certification, Rick has a video of himself and his partner Janet installing a green roof on his downtown Portland project. The video can be found on Fine Homebuilding’s web site, a publication of Taunton Press.

Rick proves that if an architect can do it – anybody can. Thanks Rick and Janet! View the video
